Look Development: Breathing Life Into Characters
As an Animation Director or trusted consultant Animator, Look Development is one of our favorite stages of production. It's the magical moment when a character comes to life for the very first time—when the team and stakeholders finally see their vision in motion. There’s nothing more thrilling than presenting that initial animation to a Director, Producer, or the animation team and watching their excitement as the character begins to truly exist.
This phase is essential, not only for defining the character’s personality and movement but also for refining the model and rigging processes, setting the foundation for the entire production. It’s a service were passionate about offering to Clients, helping studios secure that all-important ‘Green Light’ while training teams to adopt a style that fits the film’s unique vision - below is a taste of some of the look dev Graham has worked on.

For the comedic King Kong in the Etisalat ad, we ran a quick rig test using Anchorman dialogue to push the performance and showcase the humor to the client
