Bringing Characters to Life: The Thrill of Designing the Unimagined

As Head of Character or Character Designer on a show, it’s a role we’re deeply passionate about. There’s an unparalleled joy in creating the next wave of unimagined designs for new projects

My Little Pony - A New Generation

As Head of Character and Animation Director on this movie, Graham had the incredible opportunity to reinvent the look of the My Little Pony brand for a new generation. This involved designing a fresh visual style that honored the legacy of these beloved characters while giving them a modern, vibrant twist. Beyond the designs, his role extended to bringing their unique personalities to life on screen as Animation Director, ensuring every movement and expression captured the heart and spirit of each pony. It was an exciting challenge to balance innovation with familiarity, creating a cinematic experience that resonated with both longtime fans and new audiences

Askeladden

Designing the Troll and serving as Animation Director to bring him to life was an incredible experience. While we had plenty of ideas about how a troll should look, working on this project in Norway meant immersing myself in their rich history and deeply respected folklore of mythical trolls. Balancing our creative vision with their traditional aesthetic was a rewarding and collaborative process that made the journey all the more enjoyable.

Disney Universe

Disney’s fun-filled game Disney Universe, where Graham had the honor of serving as Head of Concept and Character. He was responsible for designing the look and feel of this fantastic game, bringing its vibrant world and beloved characters to life.
